When recording workouts, timing is everything—especially when it comes to seeing your data.

Think about it: when do you actually care about the weight you lifted last time?
It’s not while browsing your workout history.
It’s right when you’re deciding how much to lift today.

In line with this thinking, WeightLiftr puts your data exactly where you need it—alongside the input. As you’re logging a set, you can instantly see your previous weights, sets, and reps for that specific exercise. No digging through old logs. No distractions.

Over time, as users record exercises in WeightLiftr, the app compiles that history to make personalized suggestions—streamlining the input process and reducing friction. If you’ve done the movement before, you’ll also get the option to view a progress graph on the spot to make a more informed decision about what to lift today.

My hope is that this small design choice makes a big impact:

  • Easier logging
  • Smarter decisions
  • More consistency

I’m excited about where this feature is heading and how it will evolve with more usage and feedback.

Onward,
Will
